Shova Rani Nursing College was established in 2005 with an intake of 50 students for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The intake has since been enhanced to 80.
The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme started in September 2020 with a capacity of 30 students. Students receive comprehensive training of international standards with a focus on competency-based education and skill development; the college runs at full strength with 305 students.
