The Department of Clinical Dietetics & Community Nutrition — patient care, community outreach and nutrition education.

The department plans therapeutic diets for patients across the hospital and caters to individual nutrition needs on the wards. It is led by a Head of Department with a team of senior and junior dietitians, a community-nutrition in-charge and diet managers.
The department also teaches — from short certificate programmes to a master’s degree and now a PhD.
MSCDFSM · 2 years
Trains dietitians, nutrition counsellors and food-service managers for hospital and community dietetics, with an exit option as PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Nutrition.
PGDFSQM · 1 year
Prepares professionals to develop, implement and audit food-safety and quality-management systems (developed with APEDA, Govt. of India).
DNHE · 1 year
Builds knowledge of nutrition and public health and the skills to communicate it to the community. Eligibility: 10+2.
CNCC · 6 months
Nutrition, meal planning and the development of children from birth to six years. Eligibility: 10+2.
CFN · 6 months
Role of food in healthy living — food selection, nutrition across life stages, food safety and consumer rights. Minimum age 18.
