The college is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission. Our mission is to prepare doctors committed to serving society — especially the poor and the marginalised.
Undergraduate admission is through NEET and the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC). NEET-qualified West Bengal domicile students are eligible for State Government seats; NEET-qualified students from all over India registered with WBMCC are eligible for Management quota seats.
